Mom: Make sure you choose a guy who doesn't have high blood pressure so that you won't get widowed young.
Dad: Put more heart into the things you commit to do! (scolding)
Dad: Treasure your things! (when I failed to clear up after myself)
Been getting great advice from my parents lately and somehow a few of these scoldings keep replaying in my head because it's either funny or revelatory :] I feel blessed to have quirky loving parents!
