Was talking to Shiyun the other day at lunch, and it's really true what she said about the little, routine and mundane things in life. They are really what wears you down slowly because i suppose we don't really guard ourselves against it by relying on God's strength because they're just such little things.. like waking up, brushing your teeth, going to work etc.. :]
But i think this is one of the few times where i'm actually aware of a decision within myself to keep hanging on, to ignore my emotions and make an effort to seek God despite being tired. So it kinda encourages me :] looking back, i realise it's really sinking into my emotions and just riding the waves, seeing where they'd take me, that really led to those long wanderings in the wilderness without breakthroughs. But it really really takes a change in your mindset before you can start breaking through and keep breaking through in all aspects of your life even when you're in the valley. I'm sure Paul had his down moments too, but the bible doesn't mention it. He just kept pushing on, just like Pst Kong. I guess we gotta discover what exactly is the Christian walk like and the way to walk it victoriously in our hearts to be able to continue on.
