Love Sun! :]

Wow.. today's concert was awesome man.. 8) All i could think about when i was sitting/standing there was how proud i was of Sun! :]
It's only as you mature as a christian and go through more trials and experiences that you finally understand what others are going through. Like Sun, when she was performing songs from her US albums, i was totally 0.0! She looked so totally like a pop star in the world ;] and then i remembered the sermon about being a Daniel in the marketplace and i was so totally proud of her! :] Especially after she shared her feelings about her career, about having those moments where she's so tired of sacrificing so much and wanting to just return home to Singapore and to her family and friends.. Yes, instead of focusing on what we're going through, we should always remind ourselves of what God has done for us.. There'll always be valleys, but sometimes we tend to just go through each one and just hang on, hang on until the next one... what a tiring walk! Practice the spiritual discipline of remembrance and look back to encourage yourself, I've grown so so much in God and i know that if i weren't in CHC, i'd probably be an Ah lian somewhere out there..
I love moments like these when i'm reminded that the church is a family. Yes, there's a difference between camily and friends. Friends make us feel good, friends understand us most of the time, friends don't expect us to be polite, to follow the rules, to be filial etc. But family does - we're at our worst with our family; we may not like our siblings or relatives but we love them; but we know that when we're totally bankrupt or totally fall, they'll definately be there for us. Of course, family members can also become our good friends :] ! Plus like what Pst Phil said, there's a difference in the fellowship between cellgroup members in church. God is in the center of the relationship, so this relationship has eternity in it. When someone backslides, it's like they're on a different page and it's as if something's changed in your friendship that cannot return to what it was before.
Now's the time to stick to God and devote myself to Him. :] Sun totally spoke what i was going through in the concert, and i felt so blessed :] God has provided an answer and i felt even happier that it was through Sun. She's so totally inspirational and encouraging! :] Awesome man..
