A review of the holidays *takes a peek at the sidebar of holiday-wanna-dos*: let's just say that it's always good to have goals even if circumstances arise that prevent you from fulfilling them. It's good that at least these goals are purely to do with what i judged were beneficial for my mental and emotional health - seeing how i'm still writing this means i'm still well and alive even if i didn't fulfill any of the R&R goals i set.
I'm heavily burdened these few weeks, because there's no one else who could or should carry certain responsibilities that i have. And there're no explanations for failling to do what i always knew in the back of my mind i had to do, only that i'm sorry for not stretching myself enough and rising up. I realise that rising up, it's really not something that one does to benefit one's self. But the failure to rise up can lead to many people suffering, because there wasn't someone to stand in that gap and provide a covering of protection. Yet as i really repented from fear, consequences have already played out and i can only pray and thank God that He is Jehovah God who's in control, and who'll be strong on my behalf to my family, grandfather, friends, cellgroup members and my tuition kids when i can't.
"The Lord is gravious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. The Lord protects the simplehearted;when I was in great need, he saved me. Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the Lord has been good to you." -Psalm 116:5-7
