A pure heart

A pure heart, that's what I long for
A heart that follows hard after Thee

A heart that hides Your Word so that sin will not come in
A heart that's undivided but one You rule and reign
A heart that beats compassion, that pleases You my Lord
A sweet aroma of worship, that rises to Your throne

Without a pure heart, we can't see God. I was so convicted today about maintaining a pure heart in my spiritual life. When we're so busy serving and studying and working, it's so easy to let worries, burdens and doubts clutter our minds and hearts. But the Holy Spirit is like a dove, and it's so important not to let all these things take away our joy, peace and communion with Him. Let's press in and let our serving flow from our relationship with the Holy Spirit :]
