Common grace...

One of my resolutions for 2008 is to stay in God's love, and to just be saturated everyday in His grace, His belief in me, His faithfulness, and grace. To walk daily, not letting my busyness and circumstances make me lose focus on the beauty of this person, who's such a gracious, patient father.

To be free in His love, to love others without fearing, without the need for defense mechanisms, to love people for who they are and not what they can do for me. To look past their weaknesses, and to believe in them all the same.

To be patient in my waiting and to remain hopeful because God is a good God, and He's in control.

To see the beauty in the small things, and count my blessings.

To accept His love, and take the joy that comes with setting myself free from obligations of being a perfect person, forgiving myself and just accepting His mercy.

To be a woman who is strong in her emotions - accepting herself for who she is, with all her insecurities and fears, but still moving on and serving God in spite of fear. To be courageous, and learning how to enjoy the journey, with the faith that i'll get there one day.

To be a woman who is wise, not naive and ignorant. Who grows to understand more and yet not get disillusioned.

To overcome the temptation to do things which are not right, and to have a stronger will than my emotions.

To be someone who's not bitter or negative or depressed, but full of joy, peace, hope, and love for others.
