This year's drama was really a breakthrough performance! The presence of God was really so awesome and He really moved through the drama to touch so many lives. All around me, i could see new friends who were moved and even the friend i brought cried.
This Easter really made me wonder about the reasons why God does the things He does. Not in rebellion, but it's just the realisation that God is the God who gives and who also takes away. Yet in this revelation of who He is, one can still find the peace and trust His heart, that no matter what happens, we're in the hollow of His hand and everything will work out according to His plan for us. We've just got to focus and remind ourselves of this, especially when circumstances and life don't stick to our plans.
Sometimes we don't understand why things happen, or why we're born in such a time to face such things. But just like when Jesus told Simon - This is your destiny. And Simon had to undergo all that he did, in order to emerge under the grace and power of God, to be a man who saw God's redemption for himself.
Wherever we are, even if in the mundane things of schoolwork, work and ministry that drags our spirit down sometimes when we want to relax and enjoy life; keep focused on the fact that everything you're doing has a purpose in God. Live life intentionally, and learn to enjoy life despite of your circumstances and emotions!
