School's started! Super busy running about juggling everything, BUT praise the Lord! I'm becoming more disciplined! :]
Interesting teachers this sem:
Last sem, i took Sociology taught by this lecturer who had a split personality. This sem, his wife is teaching me Anthropology! Hahaha... and she's every bit as interesting as he is man... she's the hippie type, with long hair and yoga-ish clothes and she speaks so slowly and in such a laidback way that she would have lulled me to sleep if not for the fact that this is the first time i've met someone like her. Hahaha
Love my Brain & Behaviour lecturer! :] He's super duper funny... plus his experience in the field = lecture with lots of stories instead of dry boring bits that we can read in the text. Haha..
Like my Counseling lecturer as well :] She has a habit of showing lots of videos (which is actually vv good in my opinion). Haha.. contrary to the rest of the students. And she has this habit of coming in late and ending early. But of course, her classes are good lah, so i think it's the quality that matters.
Super hectic week... and i'll be missing my old chums in school because i'm taking different modules. Haha.. which is uni life! But i feel so blessed, that when i'm physically super tired, i can still look up and take hold of God's hand and know that He's going through this with me. That makes all the difference in the world :] Knowing that the purpose for everything i do is so that my life will honour Him! But I really need your prayers! Likewise, just wanna say jiayou to you guys who've just started uni too - or are working like Miss YX :]!
Have been reading a book by Pst Ulf, and it's true, that when we get a revelation of ourselves as people who are blessed and purposed by God to bear forth fruit, we won't go through life with the mentality that we are the ones who need help constantly. Instead, we know that just like how natural it is for an apple tree to bear fruits in its season, it'll also be natural for us to bear fruits! And the bible says in every season - including seasons when you're dry! It's only possible through God, and if we embrace the vision of how every single action and word we say can be a seed and bring forth blessing into other people's lives.
That's my goal this sem! That i'll be able to be my best, to sow love and edify people around me, especially my family. Even as i stretch in my capacity to handle more stuff and problems by relying more on God :] I think it's so important to make a decision not to let busyness rob you of your relationship with God! So jiayou Jeannette, live everyday to its fullest!
