Of the many weaknesses i have, i have 2 major ones which i struggle with at every level i break through - Anger and Fear. Lol..and i just realised the reason why i'm placed in my workplace -_- i think God is trying to teach me a lesson abt my anger prob!
My boss is super super temperamental man... today, he flared up at the Singtel company because the company's internet had problems.. and because he was so worked up, his customer called and he got provoked and started swearing at his customer: "Tell your boss '**** you!' i don't care if you cancel your order..etc" i was like 0.= ?!
Right after that, Mr Grumpy called and wanted to complain to my boss about me:
(brief conversation went like that)
Me: Good afternoon, (company name).
Mr Grumpy: Hello, may i speak to Mr Lim pls?
Me: May i know who's calling?
Mr Grumpy: Mr Grumpy
Me: And where are you calling from?
Mr Grumpy: Indonesia.. is Mr Lim in?
Me: Mr Lim has left the office, can i pass a msg?
Mr Grumpy: Then why did you ask me for my details if he's not in? What's your name?? *In a very worked up way..
Me: I'm Jeannette. I need to know your details to pass the msg to my boss that you called
Mr Grumpy: Oh... -_- realization hits at this point.. Ok, i'll call another time, thanks

Following that, Miss Grumpy called wanting to promote something to the company. *Having forewarning from my boss that i'm to say "NO" and "I DON'T KNOW" to these ppl, i started to ask if she wanted to leave her name and number instead.
Miss Grumpy: *interrupts me* NO, i just want to speak to your boss.
Me: He's left the office for the day.
Miss Grumpy: You mean NO ONE'S in the office?? What time does your office close??
Me: 5pm..... -_0
Miss Grumpy: Oh, ok. Then can you give me your fax no and ur boss' name?
Me: I'm sorry, would you like to leave ur name and..
Miss Grumpy: NO. Can i speak to his secretary then?
Me: I'm the temp admin assistant, could i pass a msg?
Miss Grumpy: Oh, you're a TEMP worker? Then you don't know anything, so you shouldn't reject me because i have a very good offer for your boss .. and so on and so forth..

Goodness! I didn't know anger was such an ugly thing.. i mean, my boss is actually quite a nice guy except for the fact that he blows up at the weirdest things. But that's really enough for ppl to lose respect for him.. -_- the whole office was so tense and the only thing going through my mind was: ?!?! Why is he so angry ?!?! Is this how it's like in the business world? and 'Pls go home now, pls go home now..' :P
But at least i realised that i do have the favor of God in my office. Because after shouting at the singtel ppl, my boss smiles and reminds me to listen carefully for the client's names when they call (since i misheard Mr Lee for Mr Lim), then returns to swearing at his client.. and when he left the office, he smiled and told me nicely that he's leaving. i mean.. since the day i stepped in, he's vented his anger at all the other workers except me! So really thank God for that.. :] Lol...testimony that came out of testing!
But went for ministry after work today and it was awesome! :] My ministry leader is in Taiwan for missions, but there's lots of stuff to do, which never fails to make me fill fulfilled! :] haha.. i really like ministry in attributes ;] praying though for guidance whether i shld try other ministries in church.. hmm..
