Awesome man.. :] I feel so happy! It's like the 4 o'clock excitement because you realise that work is ending soon, multiplied a billion times! haha.. On the down side, i really like the people i met in the office, and in the canteen :] haha.. Especially the auntie at the drink store, everytime she sees me she'll ask "what you want to da bao?" because my boss likes to have tea break at 4pm and i'm the office girl who buys food for everyone..LOL.. :D PLUS the food in the canteen is awesome la.. my last lunch=awesome lor mee! ><
I can't believe that it's only been months since the A Levels, i feel like i'm a totally different person from those JC days, i've really grown alot these past few months :]
God has really been speaking to me these past few days about how much He loves us, everyone in the whole world.. :]
Just yesterday, was taking a train to go for ministry and noticed this construction worker from China. He's around 50 plus, probably younger, just that his skin is so tan and wrinkled that he looks old. His handphone rang and he took it out from his back pocket to answer it, and this thought suddenly flashed in my mind - how precious that handphone is, it was bought with hard-earned money. Then noticed his fingernails were cracked, his hair was greying and just thought, this man came from China, somehow along the way, he felt the strong need to want to come to Singapore to earn some money for his family back there in the countryside. And God spoke to me - "Jeannette, i love this man."
At the end of the row where this China man was sitting, there was an indian teenager who looked like a future Bollywood star..lol.. curly hair, fair skin, a diamond earring, cool-looking.. leaning forward with his elbows on his knees. Then God said - "I made this person, from his curly hair, to his eyes, his character.."
Right behind me was this young mother, around her late twenties. She was wearing glittery makeup that was more suited for young people, her hair was in a short plait with those plastic hair grips you buy from a mamashop, with penciled eyebrows and youngish looking clothes. Next to her was a uni student who was studying with a textbook open on his lap. The little boy on her lap was slapping his textbook and she clicked her tongue at him, frowning and saying, "Don't do that!" The boy turned to look at her and smile, and despite the frown on her face, she broke into a smile that bespoke her love for her son. She couldn't help but smile at him, promptly forgetting that she was trying to be strict with him.
I was thinking, so many different people! And God interjected: "And I made ALL of them. I sculpted them and molded them all and placed them in their mothers' wombs." What a truly great God He is.. When i walked out of the train, i couldn't help but look at all these different people around me and marvel at how colorful God is, how BIG He is, how much He loves all of us. Everyone really, and truly has a purpose on this earth.
In fact, i was just observing this really cute girl during lunch today. She has the roundest face i've ever seen. And the thought that God's sense of beauty is really beyond that of any human or fashionista popped into my head. He makes breathtaking sunsets, mountains and majestic falls that awe every spectator into silence at their glory. So everything He makes, is BEAUTIFUL. God's sense of style and love of the aesthetic led Him to create every single person on this earth! Ask Him whether He thinks you're beautiful, and He'll probably frown in confusion at the thought because EVERYTHING He created is beautiful beyond description to Him. :]
"It is VERY good!" - God at the creation of the world and everything in it :]
